Victor Newman <Producer – Beat Master>

Skilful and gifted, Victor is a producer with the tenacity of chief surgeon in the studio.
His focus on detail and thirst for new challenges started early on in his career when he built his first studio in 2000.

He went on to start a second studio in Hollywood where he worked with artists such as Flo Rida, DMX, Sean Paul, Nate Dogg and Snoop Dogg.

Refusing to be stereotyped or pigeon holed, Victor is a walking contradiction influenced by the Motown,

New Jack Swing, R&B and Hip Pop melodies of his childhood. Inspired by legends like Norman Whitfield, the Ohio native prides himself most on eclecticism and going against the grain.

A chameleon in sound and style, Victor has devoted himself to laying down tracks for a variety of on-screen projects, including the title track Gutterville for the movie Waist Deep starring Tyrese.

Combining hip hop, soul, and rock & roll, Victor is the originator of a new genre of sound called Power Music.

He is currently focusing his efforts on expanding the FuntimeProductions repertoire by fusing world music with contemporary heat.

Jon Underdown <Vocal Producer>

Born and raised in Seattle, Jon’s lifelong interest in Asia brought him to Japan in the Spring of 2001.

After a year of study and networking in Tokyo he permanently relocated there to pursue a career in music.

For the next 14 years he immersed himself in the Tokyo rock scene as a front man, songwriter, and lyricist for the following bands: fade (2002~2014), YELLOW FRIED CHICKENZ (GACKT) (2011~2012), Sonz of Freedom (2013~2014). 10 albums later and with one world tour and numerous tours of Japan under his belt, in 2014 Jon decided that it was time to change the trajectory of his musical career.

Applying everything he had learned as a rock front man he returned to his natural vocal and songwriting style of soul, funk, R&B, reggae, pop, and dance and has been focusing on working as a producer and composer for Japanese major label artists and independent artists.

Most recently he and internationally reputed producer Victor Newman have formed their own production company Funtime Productions, and the powerhouse artist and producer unit YAY and are poised to take the global music scene by storm in 2018 and beyond.
